ARTIST STATEMENT
My practice uses mixed media, mainly sculpture, drawing and photography. I am interested in the interplay between two and three dimensional forms, such as using ceramics as a base and adding drawing elements to explore the possibilities of diverse mediums.
I try to dig into the relationship between the work and space. My works are usually displayed in indoor spaces and resonate with the unique features and atmosphere of the environment. Integrating the surrounding space's essence into my practice makes the entire setting an indispensable part of the artwork.
My work's topics usually focus on my feelings and experiences. I capture the delicate psychological emotions found in daily life and encourage the audience to interact with the work to try to connect with people's subtle emotional experiences.
